I love unfinished art. I love it more than finished art. (That being said, in a sense, no art is finished or unfinished – there’s no official point to make it so.)

The reason I love unfinished art is that it hasn’t been ruined yet. There’s something more beautiful in the possibilitiy of what it will or could look like than actually finishing it. When finished, art leaves the imagination only the job of interpreting it, not adding to it.

Plus, if you don’t finish it, if it stays loose, it can’t be penalized as imperfect. It already is. There’s too much pressure in being perfectly finished.
